Spanish Immersion Program Overview

Immersion programs have been proven to be one of the fastest methods of learning a foreign language. The purpose of an immersion program is to "force" students to communicate in Spanish, and not to rely on their native language to get by. Thus, students quickly learn how to ask for things, listen and think in Spanish.  But fear not, our patient instructors and staff are always here to help, no matter if you are just beginning or an advanced speaker. 

At the core of our program are the intensive Spanish classes. Students study four hours per day in a private class. Classes are fun, interactive and tailored to the individual needs of the student. In addition, we offer several activity packages including rock climbing, cultural shopping tours and volunteering.

Linguas offers the student a choice of accommodations including staying with one of our carefully screened families as part of a homestay, staying in a local, or providing their own accommodations.

Linguas is located in one of the nicest, safest neighborhoods across the Universidad Autonoma and provides convenient access by bus or taxi to the historic districts of Guadalajara and Zapopan and many other points of interest in and around Guadalajara.

We will neither bore you by making too little progress nor will we frustrate you by overwhelming you with more information than you can process.  All immersion courses consist of private instruction and classes are conducted in Spanish by experienced native Spanish speaking instructors.
